Your data

Delete your account and everything attached to it.

Three taps in the app, or one email. There is no password, so you have nothing to reset or prove first.

In the app

Open Settings, scroll to the bottom, and tap Delete account & data. Your phone may ask for its passcode or Face ID first. After you confirm, the deletion runs immediately on the Cantle server, and the app returns to its first screen like a new install.

By email

If you no longer have the app, or it cannot reach the server, write to privacy@cantle.app and include your friend code, the six characters shown in Settings. The code says which account you mean. It does not prove the account is yours, because friend codes are made to be shared, so I may ask something only the account holder would know. I delete within 30 days and confirm by reply.

What is deleted

• Your account: the anonymous ID, display name, avatar choices, friend code, sign-in token and any recovery code.
• Your friendships, friend requests, nudges and blocks.
• Your solve history, progress backup and preferences.
• Your notification token, language, time zone and quiet hours, so nothing is sent to that device again.
• Your Pro record on the Cantle server. One-time items are never recorded there. What you bought stays in your Apple or Google account and can be restored to a new Cantle account with Restore purchases.
• Reports you filed and reports about you.
• Crash reports the app sent, which are detached from the account.

What stays, and why

• Your times on the daily leaderboards stay as anonymous rows with no name, no code and nothing that points back to you, so other players’ places do not shift.
• Duels you played stay as your opponent’s results, and your side of them becomes anonymous. A duel still open is deleted.
• If a moderator acted on your name or on a report, a short record of that decision stays, and it may include the name involved.
• Apple, Google and RevenueCat keep their own records of what you bought. RevenueCat’s is filed under your anonymous ID.
• Backups age out within 30 days, and a deleted account is not restored from them.

Delete part of your data and keep the account

You can remove part of your data and keep the account. Change your display name or avatar in Settings, and the old one is replaced on the server the moment you save (a copy stays only where the name was part of a report or a moderation decision). Remove a friend or lift a block from your friends list, and the link ends for both sides at once. For anything else, such as your solve history, a particular day’s result or reports you filed, write to privacy@cantle.app with your friend code and say what to remove. I delete within 30 days and confirm by reply. What stays is the same as for a full deletion: anonymous leaderboard rows and played duels.

Deleting the app alone keeps the account and does not cancel a Pro subscription. You cancel that in the store you bought it from; see Support.
